the new job…
So today was the first day. Scary. I went in and everyone was super friendly and welcoming which was amazing. Then I was told I would be going to my office, and the directions were horrible. minor detail. When I got to the office I claimed my new desk, which is pretty amazing. It’s in an open corner so I wont feel claustrophobic. The ladies invited me and a couple other girls out to lunch for mexican (it was delicious!).
We then went to a meeting… and things got a little crazy for me.
We sat in this meeting for like 4 hours, and I was given my caseload- I have 14 kids. What exactly I will be doing with these kids… I am not sure.
I have no idea what my job entails, but I did learn today that it involves a lot of planning and time management.
So, naturally, my first stop on the way back to Susan’s was staples. I bought a $40 planner and I am quite excited about the purchase. Plus, I get reimbursed for $20 of it.
Tomorrow I get the working files on the students. This will further the stress.
BUT, I am done at 3:30 tomorrow, so I may go shopping for an apartment! yay!
